Can you hear me now?


Forty one states have a law requiring newborn hearing screening.  That’s a good thing, because when infants aren’t screened, the average age of detection of hearing loss is 14 months. By then, the child’s language development may already be impacted. Parents as Teachers affiliates offer Otoacoustic emissions (OAE) hearing screenings as part of their regular services.
