The National Center is looking for the original babies of the Missouri pilot programs that took place from 1981-1984. If you know of any or their parents, please contact Barbara.Harris@parentsasteachers.org, put “PAT Kids” in the subject line of your email. The four school districts of the pilot were Francis-Howell, Ferguson-Florissant, Farmington and Independence. Parents as Teachers National Center would like to share their success stories and welcomes any additional ideas you may have to celebrate these individuals.
This blog should be updated more often to serve as a resource for Parent Educators and participants.
I agree more input would be helpful; I’d like to hear more from parent educators and participants.
Lisa – have you considered subscribing to the RSS feed on the Parents as Teachers site? (www.parentsasteachers.org) It’s a great resource for updated news and posted items – I find it very helpful.
