Wasckly Wabbit!

by Maggie Probert

That’s right…we had a rabbit! In the office!

How that rabbit got into the building is a mystery. More of a mystery is why he was in the building in the first place.

The CFO warned us: It looks like this…

 not like this…

Of course, my natural reaction to reading an email at 6:30 p.m. about a rabbit in the building was that it was a joke.

He scared the cleaning crew who upset their bucket of water all over the floor in their surpise and it took several staff to finally trap and remove the poor rabbit to his natural habitat.

What is wonderful about this comical situation is how the staff responded with such great humor and teamwork. That Wasckly Wabbit came to visit at a particularly busy and stressful time. He provided a break in the stress and brought smiles to the whole staff.

Remember that lesson: in the midst of stress, look for humor to regain your perspective. The same is true for both work and home. Laughter really is the best medicine.

Thanks, Wabbit!
